Matthew Helm, MD, FAAD, attended Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, TX, and received his medical degree in 2013. Then, he served his internship at St. Mary Mercy Livonia Hospital in Livonia, Michigan (2013-2014). Furthermore, he conducted his dermatology residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, TX (2014-2017). In addition, Dr. Helm received board certification in dermatology from the American Board of Dermatology. Moreover, he attained fellowship of the American Academy of Dermatology. In addition to his medical degree, he holds an undergraduate degree in biochemistry acquired at Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, OK. He feels that his success is attributable primarily to wanting to help people with skin problems to feel better about themselves. Dr. Helm dedicates his spare time to history, hiking, traveling, as well as playing tennis and golf.
